External Promotion of Mechanical Engineering (DEEM)

The External Promotion of Mechanical Engineering Department (DEEM) has as its main objective the promotion of mechanical engineering and its professional opportunities among young students and the school community.
With the aim of sparking interest and passion for engineering, DEEM organises various activities, including competitions, hands-on demonstrations and holiday camps for primary and secondary school students. In addition, the department takes an active part in welcoming new students, at open days, and represents Fórum Mecânica at institutional events, raising the profile of the degree.
