As Fórum Mecânica knows that we all like karting, and given the success of last year's edition, we decided to create a Karting Tournament for Mechanical Engineering once again! On 26 November at 11:00 am a karting tournament will be held, consisting of a team endurance race, with 15 minutes of free practice + 1 hour of racing at Campera Karting. On 13 November Amorim Cork will open its doors so that Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management students can get to know the company better, clear up any questions they have and also discover what opportunities the company can offer them, including curricular internships. The visit will start at 10:00 and end at around 16:00, this being the summary programme: Meeting at Alameda at 8:30, with a second stop at Sete Rios Visit to the Amorim Cork facilities Lunch Visit to the Amorim Florestal facilities Return, with stops at Sete Rios and Alameda - arrival at around 17:30 Price per registration: 3⚙️, lunch included Sign up here.

This workshop will be divided into two sessions, the first on the 23rd of this month, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, in room SDM, and the second on the 25th, at the same time, in room MOM. Both rooms are in the Mechanics II Pavilion. 1st session - Presentation of the concepts needed to carry out the DMG course project. 2nd session - Clarification of specific questions raised by students.
